The complete Read and Write in Armenian series in one set. Four workbooks take your child from pre-writing strokes through all 39 letters of the Armenian alphabet, in the order Armenian schools teach them.
What's in the set
- Part 1: introduces the first eight letters, starting with pre-writing strokes so small hands are ready to trace.
- Part 2: adds nine more letters and the first simple sentences.
- Part 3: builds reading speed with ten new letters and longer passages.
- Part 4: completes the alphabet and brings everything together so your child reads and writes with confidence.
- Each book is 44 pages, printed in the USA, with a soft cover that lies flat on the table.
How it works
Every letter follows the same four-page rhythm: meet the letter and its key word, trace it in print and cursive, write words that use it, then read a short passage. Review pages after every few letters make sure nothing is forgotten. Ten focused minutes a day is enough.
Who it's for
- Children ages 5 to 9 who are ready to learn the Armenian alphabet
- Home learning and Armenian school
- Parents who don't read Armenian: every letter comes with an English pronunciation hint, so you can learn right next to your child
Why families choose the set
Buying all four parts together saves you money compared to buying each book separately, and your child never hits a gap between books. These are the same workbooks used in Armenian schools across the United States, Canada, and Armenia.
Choose your dialect
Eastern Armenian is spoken in Armenia today. Western Armenian is spoken across much of the diaspora. The letters are the same; the pronunciation hints differ. If you're unsure, ask your child's school or a grandparent which one your family speaks.
